The school established a Sino-American high school program to prepare students for admission to universities in the United States. Southlands Christian Schools had a partnership wth Zhoushan High that involved sending a teacher to teach in the American style at Zhoushan High. David Metz of The New York Times described it as "Zhoushan’s most elite high school".[1]
The campus includes a planetarium and has a capacity of 1,500. It includes boarding facilities.[1]
