Yashoda (film)

Yashoda is an upcoming Indian Telugu-language science fiction thriller film written and directed by the duo Hari Shankar and Harish Narayan and produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad under the banner Sridevi Movies. Touted to be a new age thriller,[1] the film stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu as the titular character alongside Unni Mukundan, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar.

The film's music is composed by Mani Sharma, with cinematography and editing performed by M Sukumar and Marthand K Venkatesh respectively. The film's shooting started in December 2021,[2] and is planned to be released in five languages, including the original Telugu version, along with dubbed versions in Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada. It is scheduled to release on 12 August 2022.[3]

Filming

The cinematography and editing performed by M Sukumar and Marthand K Venkatesh respectively. The principal photography started in December 2021,[6] Hollywood stuntman Yannick Ben, has been brought in to train and choreograph stunts for Samantha[7]
