Xinhua Daily
Xinhua Daily (simplified Chinese: 新华日报; traditional Chinese: 新華日報; pinyin: Xīnhuá rìbào) was the first public newspaper published in the People's Republic of China by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). It is owned by the Jiangsu Committee of the CCP.

History
On November 1, 1938, it was established in Wuhan by revolutionaries such as Zhou Enlai. On February 28, 1947, the publication of the Xin Hua Daily was forbidden by Kuomintang. Later, on April 23, 1949, Xin Hua Daily began publication with official support.
The newspaper reports economic, social and political events in Jiangsu province. Currently, the total circulation is 470,000.
