Westview High School (Tennessee)

Westview High School is a public high school in Martin, Tennessee, United States. It is part of the Weakley County school district. As of 2006, it has an enrollment of approximately 650 students. The current principal is Jeromy Davidson.[1]

History

Martin High School was established in 1925. The sports teams were called the Panthers. In Fall 1970, Martin High School was renamed Westview High School and the sports teams were renamed the Chargers. In Fall 1971, the school moved into a newly constructed building. In Fall 1982, Sharon High School was spun off from Westview High School. Sharon High School was re-consolidated with Westview High School in 1991.[2]
