History

The party was officially founded by Kiril Petkov and Asen Vasilev on 15 April 2021,[3] following the success of their electoral coalition under the same name in the November 2021 Bulgarian parliamentary election. This coalition used the party lists of 3 minor parties, as it was too late to register as a singular party.[4]

In the November 2021 election, the electoral coalition came in first place, with over 25% of the vote.[5] It received 67 seats, 61 of which went to We Continue the Change. Petkov, as the Prime Minister designate of the coalition, formed a government alongside BSP, ITN and DB in the subsequent months after the election.[6][7]
