Viceroys of Vietnam

The Viceroys of Vietnam (Tổng Trấn) existed for 30 years, during the reign of Emperor Gia Long and early years of Minh Mang of the Nguyễn period Vietnamese state. They were abolished by Emperor Minh Mang in 1831, and replaced with provincial governors.
