Valeriy Hudz
Valery Fedorovich Gudz (Ukrainian: Гудзь Валерій Федорович; 12 February 1971 – 12 March 2022) was a Ukrainian serviceman, Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, commander of the 24th Mechanized Brigade (2017–2020).[1] Participant in the Russian-Ukrainian war: fought in sector "D" on the border war with Russia, in the area of Volnovakha and Avdiivka. He died during the Russian invasion of Ukraine in Luhansk region. He was awarded Hero of Ukraine posthumously.[2][3][4]
