United Democratic Alliance (Kenya)
The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) is a Kenyan political party. The party, initially called Party of Development and Reforms, officially changed its name to UDA in December 2020.[1] The party became notable in January 2021,[2][3] and is linked to politicians allied to Dr. William Ruto,[4] the sitting Deputy President of Kenya.[5]

The party fielded candidates in various by-elections for elective positions slated for March 2021.[6][7] The party's presidential candidate for the 2022 Kenyan general election is William Ruto, after he announced that he would leave the Jubilee Party in late 2021.
