United World College Thailand

UWC Thailand International School (Thai: UWC ประเทศไทยโรงเรียนนานาชาติ), commonly referred to as UWC Thailand and abbreviated as UWCT is an independent international and boarding school located at the foothills of Khao Phra Thaeo Wildlife Sanctuary, in Phuket, Thailand, and is the 17th member of the United World Colleges, joining the movement in 2016. UWCT is authorized by IBO, is a member of CIS, EARCOS and ISAT, and is affiliated with World Academy of Sport.[3] The school provides a Nursery–Grade 12 education encompassing academics, sports, social, emotional learning and mindfulness, service and outdoor education and activities. The school offers the IB Primary Years Programme for both early childhood (Nursery, Preschool and Kindergarten), and primary school (grades 1–5), the IB Middle Years Programme for grades 6–10, and the IB Diploma Programme for grades 11–12.

The college is a non-profit affiliate of Thanyapura Sports and Leisure Club,[4] and school's students enjoy access to Thanyapura's facilities, sports and wellness programs.

The swimmer Aniqah Gaffoor is a student here. While she was here her training schedule for the 2020 Olympics started at 4:30 in the morning on every day but Sundays.[5]
