  • The village is featured in the 2005 video game titled Call of Duty 2. Both as a mission in the single-player campaign & and as a playable map in the multi-player mode of the game. Particularly note worthy is that the mission, titled "Retaking Lost Ground" (Toujane, Tunisia - March 11, 1943) and most memorable for having players see themselves control a Sd.Kfz. 222 armored car, immerses players in a reenactment of the Battle of the Mareth Line, a British military offensive during the Second World War. The attack against the Mareth Line, held at the time by the Italo-German 1st Army, having been spearheaded by the British Eighth Army and led by General Bernard Montgomery. The aftermath of this operation, nicknamed Operation Supercharge II, would see the successful further advancing of the British army and retreat of Axis forces.
  • Part of the film La folle de Toujane (1974, by René Vautier) was filmed in this village.[2]
