Tiaong, officially the Municipality of Tiaong (Tagalog: Bayan ng Tiaong), is a 1st class municipality in the province of Quezon, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 106,265 people. [3]

It lies in the deep coconut region of Quezon, some 96 kilometers (60 mi) southeast of Manila.

History

In 1957, the following barrios were created:

Matipunso, from barrio Niing[5]
Behia, from barrio Callejon[6]
Bucal, from barrio Buha.[7]
