The Masked Singer Austria

The Masked Singer Austria is an Austrian reality singing competition television series adapted from the South Korean format King of Mask Singer. The first season premiered on Puls 4 on 14 March 2020, and is hosted by Arabella Kiesbauer. The show features celebrities singing in head-to-toe costumes and face masks which conceal their identities from other contestants, panelists, and an audience.[1][2]

On 19 March 2020 the channel Puls 4 announced that the production would be interrupted due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Austria.[3] The program continued on 15 September 2020.

Panelists and host

Current season panelists and host

In the first season the host of the show was Arabella Kiesbauer.[4] Since the second season, the host of the show is Mirjam Weichselbraun.[5] Since the first season, the panelist are Elke Winkens and Sasa Schwarzjirg. In the first season, the third panelist was Nathan Trent and since the second season, the third panelist is Rainer Schönfelder.

There were also in every episode guest panelists that appear as the fourth panelist on the series—occasionally for multiple episodes. In the first season, they were Nazar (episode 1), Hans Sigl (episode 2), Josh. (episode 3), Cesár Sampson (episode 4), Gery Seidl (episode 5) and Manuel Rubey (episode 6). In the second season, they were Felix Neureuther (episode 1), Nina Proll (episode 2).
