Christmas Cottage
Thomas Kinkade’s Christmas Cottage is a 2008 Christmas biopic directed by Michael Campus, which was the first film he had directed in over thirty years. It stars Jared Padalecki as painter Thomas Kinkade and also featured Peter O'Toole, Marcia Gay Harden and Aaron Ashmore. O'Toole was in final negotiations to join the cast in April 2007.[2]

The film was originally intended for being released theatrically in November 2007, but due to final edits and music rights, it was delayed until November 2008 in October 2007.[3] The movie’s official painting was created throughout 2007.[4] The movie was in production by March 2007.[5] The film was eventually released direct to video in the United States on November 11, 2008.[6][7]
