Svitlodarsk
Svitlodarsk (Ukrainian: Світлодарськ, Russian: Светлодарск) is a city of district significance in Bakhmut Raion, Donetsk Oblast (province) of Ukraine. Population: 11,281 (2021 est.)[1].

It is an industrial town, built as the home for the Vuhlehirska thermal power plant.
In the War in Donbass (that started in the spring of 2014) the city is near the frontline with the separatist Donetsk People's Republic.[2] Because of the conflict the number of residents has shrunk to a few thousand.[2]
