Soumitra Dutta
Soumitra Dutta is an Indian academic. He was announced as the new Dean of Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford in January 2022 and is due to take up the post from 1 June 2022. He is currently a professor of management at the SC Johnson College of Business at Cornell University in New York, where he was Dean from 2016 to 2018, and before that the Anne and Elmer Lindseth dean of the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management. Before his appointment to Cornell he was the Roland Berger professor of business and technology at INSEAD. Since April 2018 he has been chair of the board of directors of the Global Business School Network in Washington, DC.[1] He has been vice-chair (2016–2017) and chair (2017 – 2018) of AACSB International in Tampa, Florida. Since October 2018 he has been co-chair of the Global Future Council on Innovation Ecosystems of the World Economic Forum.

Biography
Dutta was the first dean of the SC Johnson College of Business[2] at Cornell University,[3] New York, until his resignation in January 2018.[4]
His company Fisheye Analytics was acquired by the WPP group in 2013.[5] He is a non-executive director of Sodexo.[6]
Publications
Dutta is an editor of the annual Global Information Technology Report published by the World Economic Forum,[7] and an author of the annual Global Innovation Index published by the World Intellectual Property Organization.[8][9])
