Sheila Dills

Sheila Dills (born July 10, 1967) is an American politician who has served in the Oklahoma House of Representatives from the 69th district from 2018 to 2022.[1][2] Dills did not seek re-election in 2022.[3]

Political positions

Educational spending

In 2019, Dills was the author of House Bill 1395 "Virtual Charter Financial Transparency", that aimed to make charter schools itemize out spending to the state educational committees. [4][5] In 2021, Dills authored House Bill 1735, which died in committee, aimed to increase oversight of charters schools and education management organizations.[6]

Transgender athletes

In 2021, Dills was a supporter of controversial Oklahoma Senate transgender sports bill (Senate Bill 2).[7]
