Samia Najimy Finnerty (born December 12, 1996) is an American singer-songwriter from New York City.

Early life

Finnerty was born to actress Kathy Najimy and actor Dan Finnerty. She is of Lebanese descent from her mother's side.[3][4] She attended York Preparatory School,[5] and studied at The New School.[6][7]

Career

Finnerty is a co-recipient of the 2017 Obie Award for Best Ensemble for her performance in Sarah DeLappe's The Wolves.[8]

Finnerty released a new song in April 2020 titled "Is There Something in the Movies?"[9] In June 2020, Finnerty announced her debut album alongside a new song titled "Fit n Full".[10][11] Finnerty released her debut in 2020 titled The Baby. Two more songs from the album, "Big Wheel" and "Stellate", were released in July 2020.[12] The album received positive reviews.[13][4][14]

Finnerty appeared briefly in the 2020 film Let Them All Talk.[15]
