Biography
Safiye was born in 1634. She was married in 1659 to Sari Hasan Pasha,[2] (d. 2 March 1688), Vizier 1674–1675, son of Abaza Siyavush Pasha. The two had son son Sultanzade Mehmed Rezmi (1660-1719) and daughter Rukiye Hanim-Sultan (1679-1697),[3][4] who was married in 1694 to Murmedoglu Gürci Mehmed Pasha.
Death
As her full-sister Kaya Sultan, Safiye Sultan died during childbirth in 1685. Her son also died with her. She was buried in Ahmed I Mausoleum.[5]
