Ruby Love
Ruby Love (formerly known as PantyProp, Inc.) is a New York-based period-proof apparel company from menstruation and incontinence.
History
Ruby Love was founded in 2015 as PantyProp, Inc. by Crystal Etienne after a years-long struggle of irregular periods and mild incontinence following the births of her two children.[1] Etienne quit her job as a controller and spent her time developing hundreds of prototypes for period-proof underwear design using $25,000 of her own money.[2][3]
After creating the gusset and underwear that absorbs leaks and stains and prevent odors, the company launched period-proof swimwear, activewear, sleepwear, and incontinence briefs for men.[4]
PantyProp Inc. was rebranded to Ruby Love in June 2019.[5]
In 2019, Ruby Love secured $15 million investment funding from The Craftory that also acquired an undisclosed stake in the company.[6]
