Rox Jewellers (retailer)

ROX - Diamonds & Thrills is a British jewellers specialising in diamonds and luxury watches. ROX were crowned Retailer of the Year at the Scottish Fashion Awards in 2011,[1] as well as Independent Jeweller of the Year at the UK Jewellery Awards 2011.[2]

History

Established in 2002 by Kyron Keogh and Grant Mitchell[3] with their first store in Argyll Arcade, Glasgow stocking brands such as Hublot, Chopard, Bulgari, Roger Dubus, Zenith , Tag Heuer, Tudor,Gucci and Jacob & Co. ROX currently operate six stores in Scotland and England including Edinburgh, Glasgow,Liverpool, Newcastle and Leeds.[4]

ROX were in the news due to a legal battle with Rolex in 2012,[5] a £1 million armed robbery at the Edinburgh store in 2013[6] and a robbery at the Argyll Arcade store in 2015[7]

ROX closed their Silverburn, Aberdeen Union Square and Braehead boutiques to look for larger store formats to feature their Moet champagne bars and diamond lounges.[8]
