Rohitha Rajapaksa

Rohitha Rajapaksa (born 15 June 1989) is a Sri Lankan cricketer, rugby player and the youngest son of Sri Lanka's Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa.[1][2] He has two elder brothers – Namal and Yoshitha.[3]

He made his List A cricket debut on 27 October 2021, for Kalutara Town Club in the 2021–22 Major Clubs Limited Over Tournament.[4][5] However, on his debut, Rajapaksha was dismissed for a golden duck.[6][7] Prior to his debut, Rajapaksha had denied reports that he is playing domestic cricket to qualify for an administration role with Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC),[8] and to play in the Lanka Premier League (LPL).[9] Rajapaksa played in three matches in the Major Clubs Limited Over Tournament, scoring a total of five runs at an average of 1.66.[10]
