Reception

This game has generally a lot of reviews on all platforms according to the Review aggregator website Metacritic.[1][2][3] Stuart Miles of The Times gave the PlayStation 2 version five stars, saying that it was "About as interactive as you can get. Controlling your shots is just like real life, and because your movements are mirrored exactly on screen, everything, from how you stand to how you swing the included miniature golf club, will affect your Gameplay."[15] Paul Katz of Entertainment Weekly gave the game a B, saying, "While the Gametrak is a techno marvel, it's the video game portion that still needs work."[14] However, Jason Hill of The Sydney Morning Herald gave the PC and PlayStation 2 versions three out of five, saying, "Any golfer will be able to pick up and play in seconds, and the sensation of playing real golf is astonishing. Pity the software simulation is so drab."[16]
