Pavel Trusov

At the age of eight, Trusov started his kickboxing career. During his time as an athlete, Pavel managed to earn the title of a 2-time champion of Russia and 10-time kickboxing champion of Bryansk region.[8] Unfortunately because of Pavel's injuries, he had to end his kickboxing career at the age of 20. As of 2020, Trusov is a full time coach in Bratislava, Slovakia.[9]

On 27 June 2020, Trusov became an official Guinness World record holder.[4] He managed to land 322 full extension punches in just 60 seconds, securing a world record for most full extension punches in a minute. This achievement has been noted by several media outlets on an international level. For example American media such as Men's Health,[10] UPI,[11] BroBible,[12] KCRR,[13] Esquire,[14] KDJE[15] and MSN,[16] as well as Chinese media such as HK01[17] and NDTV.[18] Pavel's home country Russia, was also aware of what their athlete has accomplished. Moskovskij Komsomolets,[19] Komsomolskaya Pravda[20] and Russia-24[21] have congratulated Pavel on his new world record.

On 18 November 2020, Trusov added another Guinness World Record to his resume while also beating his previous record. For his new record, he landed a total of 919 full extension punches in three minutes.[22] On the same day, Pavel has also managed to land 334 full extension punches in one minute, beating his previous record by 12 punches.
