Oleksiy Hutsulyak

Oleksiy Oleksandrovych Hutsulyak (Ukrainian: Олексій Олександрович Гуцуляк; born 25 December 1997) is a Ukrainian professional footballer who plays as a left midfielder for Dnipro-1.

Career

Hutsulyak is the product of the UFK Lviv School System. His first trainers were Taras Pavlish and Andriy Dulibskyi.[1]

FC Karpaty

He made his debut for FC Karpaty in a game against FC Metalurh Donetsk on 1 March 2015 in Ukrainian Premier League.[2]

FC Desna Chernihiv

In 2020 he signed for with FC Desna Chernihiv,[3] and with the club of Chernihiv he got into the Quarterfinals of the Ukrainian Cup in the season 2019-20 got again into the Quarterfinals of the Ukrainian Cup for the second time of the history with the club of Chernihiv. In Premier League in the season 2019–20, with the club got the 4th place, through the play-offs for the Championship round table.

He was included as the in the team Desna Chernihiv against VfL Wolfsburg for the Europa League third qualifying round at the AOK Stadion and played in the second half replacing Yehor Kartushov.[4]On 5 October 2020, after the match against Shakhtar Donetsk, he was elected best player of the round 5, in Ukrainian Premier League.[5]On 4 February 2021, Oleksiy Hutsulyak scored against Ahrobiznes in the friendly match ended 4-0 for FC Desna Chernihiv.[6]On 8 March 2021 he scored his first goal with Desna Chernihiv in Ukrainian Premier League in the season 2020–21 against Rukh Lviv at the Skif Stadium for away victory for 0-4.[7]On 10 April 2021 he scored against Oleksandriya in Ukrainian Premier League at the Chernihiv Stadium ended 4-1 for Desna.[8][9]On 24 April 2021 he missed a penalty in the match against Lviv at the Arena Lviv in Lviv.[10]He become the second most assist player of the season 2020–21 of Ukrainian Premier League.[11]In June 2021 some rumors state, that Rukh Lviv was interested to buy Hutsulyak and also Dnipro-1 was interested to make an offer for the player.[12][13][14][15]

Dnipro-1

On 15 August 2021, the deal between Desna Chernihiv and Dnipro-1 for 500.000,[16]Hutsulyak signed a contract for 4 years with Dnipro-1 in Ukrainian Premier League.[17][18][19][20][21][22]In september 2021, Football Format journalist Oleg Yashchuk reports, that Desna sold Hutsulyak to Dnipro-1 for more than 250,000 euros.[23]

International career

He also played for Ukrainian under-16 and under-17 national football teams. In April 2022 he has been called in Ukraine national football team in the training camp in April-May 2022 in Slovenia for the first time.[24]
