Oleh Meidych

Oleh Leonidovych Meidych (born November 24, 1970, in Kalynivka, Vinnytsia Oblast, Ukraine) is a Ukrainian businessman and politician. People's Deputy of Ukraine of the 9th convocation from the Batkivshchyna All-Ukrainian Union.[1]

Biography

Director of Kalinov Dairy Plant Ltd.[2]

In 2002 and 2010 he ran for the Vinnytsia Regional Council. Meidich worked as an assistant to People's Deputy Petro Gasyuk.[3]

Since 2015 - Member of the Vinnytsia Regional Council. Head of the faction of the All-Ukrainian Association "Batkivshchyna",[4] a member of the Standing Committee on Regulation of Communal Property and Privatization [2].

Proxy of the candidate for President of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko in the presidential elections in 2019.[5]

Candidate for People's Deputies from the Batkivshchyna political party in the 2019 parliamentary elections (constituency 18, Illinetsky, Lipovetsky, Nemyrivsky, Orativsky, Pohrebyshche districts). At the time of the election: natural person-entrepreneur, member of the Batkivshchyna All-Ukrainian Union. Lives in Vinnytsia.

First Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Agrarian Policy and Land Relations in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the IX convocation (elected on August 29, 2019).[6]
