Oh My Dog
Oh My Dog is a 2022 Indian Tamil-language children's drama film written and directed by debutant Sarov Shanmugam.[1] Produced by Suriya and Jyothika under the 2D Entertainment banner, the film stars Arun Vijay and his son Arnav Vijay in his debut with Vinay Rai, Mahima Nambiar and Vijayakumar in the supporting roles.[2] The film's music and score is composed by Nivas K. Prasanna, with cinematography handled by Gopinath and editing done by Meghanathan.[3] The film was released on the digital streaming platform Amazon Prime Video on 21 April 2022.[4][5]

Plot
The story is set in Tamil Nadu. Fernando (Vinay Rai) has a bunch of dogs. One day, his Siberian Husky Lee gives birth to children. One of them was born blind, so he orders his men to kill it. But the puppy escapes and they lie to Fernando that they killed it. One day, a boy named Arjun (Arnav Vijay) in Ooty sees the blind puppy. Unaware that it is blind, he raises it secretly. One day when he takes it to school, Fernando's men see it and follow them but cannot catch Arjun. Arjun tells his friend and begs not to tell it to anyone, but the whole class gets to know about it. The school's PT teacher (Swaminathan) witnesses it and complains to the principal (Priyadarshini Rajkumar). When his friends ask what the dog's name is, Arjun says that it is Simba. He gets to know that Simba is blind. They train Simba, get him an eye surgery, and participate in the international competition. He makes it to the finals. Arjun and his father Shankar (Arun Vijay) train Simba, and he wins the finals.

Release
Oh My Dog was released directly on Amazon prime video on 21 April 2022[4] as a part of 2D Entertainment's four-film deal with the streaming service.[7][8]
