History
Nutex Health started as a freestanding emergency room in Houston, Texas that soon opened branch facilities throughout the state. In February 2022, the company announced it was launching a reverse merger with Fort Lauderdale, FL-based Clinigence Holdings, a health care technology company. It debuted on the Nasdaq under ticker symbol NUTX.[2] After the merger, the company announced plans to grow to 100 hospitals including many that were acquired from the Clinigence acquisition.[3]
