He debuted internationally with the Tanzania U20 team on 16 February 2021 against Ghana competing at the 2021 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations held in Mauritania in a 4-0 defeat.

On 19 February 2021, Dismas scored his first goal for Tanzania against the Gambia in a 1-1 draw.

On 2 September 2021, he made his senior debut against the Democratic Republic of the Congo in a 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying match in a 1-1 draw.[4]

On 7 September 2021, Dismas scored his first senior goal for Tanzania against Madagascar in a qualifying match in a 3-2 victory.[5]
