Northwest Nazarene Nighthawks

The Northwest Nazarene Nighthawks, formerly the Crusaders,[2] are the 13 varsity athletic teams that represent Northwest Nazarene University, located in Nampa, Idaho, in NCAA Division II intercollegiate sports. The Nighthawks compete as members of the Great Northwest Athletic Conference. NNU's athletic moniker is "Nighthawks" and colors are red, white, gray, and black. The school's main rival is NAIA College of Idaho, located a short distance to the west in Caldwell, Idaho.

A prominent former member of the school's athletic department is Scott Flemming, who coached India’s national basketball team for several years.[3]
