Neshat Jahandari

Jahandari Began her Pilot classes at the Age of 17, While Studying in University for her degree in Aviation Flight Engineering Technology. In an Interview, Jahandari admitted that she got her Pilot Licence before getting her Drivers License. While there is no law in the Iranian Constitution that prevents women from becoming Pilots, Jahandari admitted that the industry is sexist and that many considered it a "Male Profession". After succesfully becoming a Pilot for Zagros Airlines. She used her platform on Social Media to encourage Women into following their passions, partially in countries like Iran were the law segregates the jobs.[4]

Neshat Jahandari has been internationally known as the first Iranian female pilot since the Iranian Revolution. Jahandari became Iran's first female certified captain in July 2019.[5] Awarded four stripes, she is qualified to take full control of an aircraft, either on her own or supported by a copilot. In the Aviation Industry, partially in the Islamic Republic, her achievement was considered significant and successful.[6] She began her career as a pilot with Zagros Airlines After Passing her tests and being accepted. Her career has positively Impacted the Airlines reputation in Female Empowerment. In October 2019. Jahandari and Forouz Firouzi made the record as the first All-Female Crew in History of Iran as well as the Middle East. They were congratulated by IranAir CEO Farzaneh Sharafbafi.

Jahandari is currently a Pilot with Zagros Airlines, and is currently trained to fly the MD80. she is married Farbod Shahpasandi, who she says was one of the few people that inspired her and cheered her on during her experience to becoming a pilot, [7] Currently, the couple live in Tehran and Mashhad. Jahandari also is famous on Social Media after her two main successful accomplishments, many of her videos going viral on Zagros Airlines Social Media, she uses her free time to influence Iranian Female youth into accomplishing their dreams and not letting segregation stop them.
