Nazish Jahangir

Nazish Jahangir[2] is a Pakistani television actress. Started acting in 2017, Jahangir is known for her role as Zoya in Thays, Faiza in Tohmat, Nimra in Kam Zarf and Shameela in Kahin Deep Jaley.[1][3]

Life and career

Early life

In 2015, Jahangir decided to give theater a try and was cast in a couple of Anwar Maqsood plays which resulted in television opportunities, starting with her debut in 2017 with drama serial Bharosa.[4]

Mental health awareness advocate

Jahangir is one of the most vocal mental health advocates in the Pakistani entertainment industry.[5] The actress has talked about her mental health struggles openly at many forums and continues to do so.[6]

Film debut

Jahangir has just completed shooting for her first feature film as a lead actress. The film is called Lafangay and features an ensemble cast. In an interview Nazish revealed that the movie is a horror comedy and she is paired opposite Sami Khan.[4]
