Nate A-Eshun

Nathaniel Kwesi Afful-Eshun, known professionally as Nate A-Eshun, is a Ghanaian musical artist from Takoradi.[1][2] He fuses high life and Afrobeats mixed with elements of Electronic dance music, Trap and Drill in his musical compositions.

Early life

Nate A-Eshun was born on 31 March 1991[5] in Takoradi and raised in Kumasi and Newcastle upon Tyne .

Nate attended Ghana Secondary Technical School , Takoradi Technical University and Ghana Communication Technology University.

Music career

Nate A-Eshun is known for his franchise musical albums "Native" and "Back to The Future" which have been an ongoing series since 2016.

His notable singles include “3y3 Makoma”[6] & “Kokonsa”[7] with fellow Westerners Kofi Kinaata & Pappy Kojo respectively.

Nate has also collaborated with the likes of Highlife legend Kofi Bentil, Ayesem and videographer Yaw Skyface.

In 2019 Nate won an award for collaboration of the year in the RTC Western Music Awards for the song "YOLO" by Sayvee[8] featuring Ayesem, Sarkodie and Himself.[9][10][11][12]

Nate took a break for two years due to family reasons.[13]
