Namma Madurai Sisters

Namma Madurai Sisters (நம்ம மதுரை சிஸ்டர்ஸ்) is a 2022 Indian-Tamil-language Family drama television series,[1] starring Chaya Singh,[2] Sunitha, Sankavi and Iraa Agarwal in main roles.[3] Actor Deepak Kumar plays the male protagonist opposite Actor Iraa Agarwal.[4]

That deals with four sisters Indhrani, Meghala, Bhuvana and Kavya, who created the perfect recipe for success after years of hard work with their departmental store. It is scheduled to premiere on Colors Tamil on 21 February 2022[5] at 19:00 and will be available for streaming in selected markets on Voot.[6][7][8]

Production

Casting

Actress Chaya Singh[11][12][13][14][15] was selected to play Indhrani's character. who last appeared in 2021 TV series Poove Unakkaga has received offer to appear in the series. Iraa Agarwal joined the cast in November 2021. Sunitha was selected to play the role of Meghala and Sankavi was selected to play the role of Bhuvana in December 2021. Deepak Kumar[16][17] was cast as male lead due to which he had quit the series Endrendrum Punnagai.[18]

Release

The first promo was unveiled on 8 January 2021, featuring protagonists Chaya Singh, Iraa Agarwal, Sunitha and Sankavi.[19] The second promo was unveiled on 24 January 2021, featuring the protagonists and revealing the release date.[20] The third promo was unveiled on 16 February 2022, featuring the protagonists Iraa Agarwal and Deepak Kumar and revealing the release date. The first episode aired on 21 February 2022 replacing Amman 2.
