Mykhailivka-Rubezhivka
Mykhailivka-Rubezhivka (Ukrainian: Михайлівка-Рубежівка) is a village in Bucha Raion, Kyiv Oblast, Ukraine. It has a population of 3,430.[1] It is located 16 km west of Kyiv and was formed as a result of the merging of the villages of Mykhailivka and Rubezhivka.[2] The village is considered to have been founded in 1629.[3]

On 3 March 2022, the village was captured by Russian forces during the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine.[4] Later, the village was reported to be suffering a humanitarian crisis, alongside other Ukrainian settlements.[5] The village was later liberated by Ukrainian forces on 2 April.[4]
