It serves about 3,000 students and is growing, due to new construction that began in 2009. The school contains a large band room, an auditorium, and three gymnasiums. It is among the few public high schools in Oklahoma to receive a distinguished Great Schools rating[2] of 10 out of 10.

Sports

Sports offered at Mustang include football, basketball, swimming, tennis, baseball, golf, soccer, cross country, track and field, cheer, pom, softball, volleyball, and wrestling. The school also has a nationally competitive marching-band program.
