Mncedisi Shabangu

Mncedisi Baldwin Shabangu (born 3 November 1973) is a South Africa actor, playwright and theatre director. He is the winner of the 2004 Standard Bank Young Artist Award.[1][2]

Early years

Shabangu was born in KwaMashu Durban and later his family was moved to Kanyamazane township through the Group Areas Act. His interest in acting and stage plays was triggered at an early age.[3] in 1995 he enrolled at Market Theatre Laboratory, and over the years has written and acted in numerous award-winning theatre, film and television performances.[4]
