Mike Sands (ice hockey)

Mike Sands (born April 6, 1963) is a Canadian retired professional ice hockey player who played six games in the National Hockey League.

Biography

Sands was born in Mississauga, Ontario. As a youth, he played in the 1976 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with a minor ice hockey team from Mississauga.[1] He played with the Minnesota North Stars. He currently serves as an Amateur Scout for the Arizona Coyotes. He previously served as Director of Amateur Scouting for the Calgary Flames. He previously served as an amateur scout for the flames and previously worked for the NHL Central Scouting Bureau.
