Midwives (2022 film)
Midwives is a 2022 Burmese documentary film directed by Hnin Ei Hlaing. It explores the interactions and tensions between a Buddhist Bamar midwife and her Muslim Rohingya apprentice. The film premiered at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival and won the Excellence In Verité Filmmaking World Cinema Documentary Special Jury Award.[1][2]
