Michele Leber

Michele Mathews Leber (July 30, 1938 – January 1, 2021) was a journalist, book reviewer, and librarian. Michele Leber won the 1997 The Library Journal reviewer of the year.

Early life

Michele Leber was born on July 30, 1938, in Appleton, Wisconsin. She graduated from Northwestern University.[1]

Career

She was a journalist for The Post-Crescent. She was a librarian for Fairfax County, Virginia.[1] She was on the book buying committee,[2][3] and reviewed books for The Library Journal.[4][5]

Personal life

She married Ted Leber. Michele Leber died on 1 January 2021 in Arlington, Virginia.[1]
