Michael P. Ong

Michael Pastores Ong (born December 18, 1975) is a Filipino judge who is an associate justice of the Court of Appeals of the Philippines.[2]

Early life

Justice Ong was born December 18, 1975.

Office of the Executive Secretary

Prior to his appointment to the Court of Appeals as associate justice he previously was the senior deputy executive secretary.[3]

Court of Appeals appointment

on May 24, 2021, President Rodrigo Duterte appointed Ong to the Court of Appeals alongside Alfonso Carbonell Ruiz II and Jennifer Joy Chua Ong, but all of them took their respective oaths of office on a later date.[4]

Associate Justice Ong is currently a junior member of the 8th Division of the Court of Appeals under the chairmanship of Justice Manuel M. Barrios with Justice Robeniol as its senior member.[5]
