Michael Folorunsho

Michael Ijemuan Folorunsho (born 7 February 1998) is an Italian football player of Nigerian descent who plays as a midfielder for Serie B club Reggina, on loan from Napoli.

Club career

Early career

He spent his youth years with Lazio and played for their Under-19 squad.[1]

Virtus Francavilla

On 18 July 2017, he signed with Serie C club Virtus Francavilla.[2]

He made his professional Serie C debut for Virtus Francavilla on 26 August 2017 in a game against Lecce.[3] He played 60 Serie C games for Virtus Francavilla in the two seasons.

Napoli

On 13 July 2019, his rights were purchased by Serie A club Napoli.[4]

Loan to Bari

On 15 July 2019 he joined Serie C club Bari on a 2-year loan.[5]

Loan to Reggina

On 16 September 2020 he went to Serie B side Reggina on loan.[6]

Loan to Pordenone

On 10 August 2021 he joined Serie B club Pordenone on loan.[7]

Second loan to Reggina

On 31 January 2022, Folorunsho returned to Reggina on a new loan until the end of the season.[8]
