Michael Bulyerali

Michael Bulyerali, is a Ugandan businessman, banker and corporate executive, who serves as the manager of digital communication at Centenary Bank, the second-largest commercial bank in Uganda by assets, as of December 2021. The bank's digital communication department is a component of its "marketing and communications division". His appointment took effect in March 2022. Before his present position, he worked as a corporate communications specialist at Centenary Bank.[1][2][3]

Background

Bulyerali holds a Diploma in Professional Marketing with focus on Digital Strategy. He also holds a Master of Management Studies. In addition, he is a member Chartered Institute of Public Relations of the United Kingdom.[1][2]

Career

As of April 2022, Bulyerali has over seven years of experience in the areas of (a) media and public relations (b) digital communications (c) internal communication and (d) crisis communication. He is reported to be highly experienced in those areas.[1][2]

He is also regarded as an expert in the areas of (a) advertising (b) online marketing (c) google analytics and (d) search engine optimization. He is expected to rely heavily on these acquired skills in his new position.[4]

In his new role as the digital communications manager at Centenary Bank, Bulyerali is expected to develop, lead, execute, implement and monitor the bank's communications and digital marketing strategy. The overall objective of that strategy is to acquire online customers, retain and engage them, then monitor that progress.[5]
