Memoriam

Memoriam are an English death metal band from Birmingham signed with Nuclear Blast.[1] It was founded in 2016 by former Bolt Thrower singer Karl Willetts and Benediction bassist Frank Healy. Scott Fairfax plays guitar and Andy Whale (also a former member of Bolt Thrower) was their drummer until 2020, when the latter was replaced by Spike T. Smith. The band has released four studio albums, two of which reached the charts in Germany, For the Fallen at number 16 and The Silent Vigil at number 32.[2][3] On 21 June 2019 the third album Requiem for Mankind was released. The band played at several notable festivals such as Wacken Open Air (2017) and Rock Hard Festival (2018). In an interview, Willetts has stated that, this band was formed as a tribute to the late Bolt Thrower drummer Martin Kearns.[4]
