Medill, Missouri
Medill is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Clark County, in the U.S. state of Missouri.[1] As of the 2020 census, its population was 82. [2]
The community s on US Route 136 three miles west of Kahoka.[3] The Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad passes through the community as did the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad.[4]
History
Medill was laid out in 1888 when the railroad was extended to that point.[5] A post office was established at Medill in 1889, and remained in operation until 1975.[6]
