Matinkylä metro station

Matinkylä (Finnish) or Mattby (Swedish) is an underground station[2] and the terminus of the western metro extension (Länsimetro) of the Helsinki Metro.[4] It is located at the southern end of Iso Omena shopping centre.[2] In 2023, the extension from Matinkylä to Kivenlahti will be opened as part of the second phase of the Länsimetro project. The station serves up to 30,000 people on weekdays.
