Marjan Faleel
Mohamed Marjan Faleel Asmi (born 10 June 1962) is a Sri Lankan politician and Member of Parliament.[1]He is renowned as a business tycoon who excelled in the gem industry.

He was born on 10 June 1962.[1] He is the son of longtime SLFP stalwart M.S.M Faleel Hajiar who served as the Beruwela electorate Organiser and was a long standing Chairman of the Beruwala Urban Council and member of Western Provincial Council.[2] Marjan Faleel also served as chairman of the urban council and his nephew Milfer Caffoor also subsequently served as the Chairman of the Beruwela Urban Council.[2] Following the 2020 parliamentary election he was appointed to the Parliament of Sri Lanka as a National List MP representing the Sri Lanka People's Freedom Alliance.[3][4][5]
