Marica Linn

Marica Jennett Hardy, known professionally as Marica Linn (aka Beautiful The Beast), is an American[1] urban supermodel, songwriter, musician, and actress.

Career

Marica Linn began performing arts at an early age, debuting on stage as a vocalist at age 4. Within the year, she also debuted as an actress in stage plays produced at The Cleveland Public Theatre.

Marica began modeling at age 16, and first gained national acclaim as one of the pioneers of the urban modeling industry, between 2007 and 2010 as she graced the cover of, and/or featured in 13+ published magazines, including the cover of Straight Stuntin' alongside American rapper Sheek Louch of The Lox, and appeared in multiple music videos for artists including, Lloyd Banks, Krayzie Bone (of Bone Thugs-n-Harmony), Ray Cash, and King Chip, and in 2009, with her controversial appearance on the cover of As-Is Presents Assets Magazine, (Issue #4). The issue sold out with the publisher within in the first two weeks.

In 2012, Marica Linn played a lead role in American rapper Maddi Madd's music video for his international single, Til Ima Zombie, released by Bungalo Records (Universal).[2][3] The concept of the music video, directed by Zodiac Fishgrease, was inspired by the 1996 Quentin Tarantino film, "From Dusk 'Til Dawn." Linn, also known as "Beautiful The Beast," was named by Rebel Army Radio as "Cleveland's #1 Most Desirable Woman" the same year.

In 2016, she appeared in indie slasher film "Rhyme Slaya" where Marica played the role "Raquel" the wife of rapper and club owner, "Solomon", aka "King Solo," played by Maddi Madd.

In 2018, Marica met mentor, Miami-based, internationally acclaimed Billboard recording artist Honorebel and became the first female rapper on Phantom Music Group, the record label he started along with partner Nick Lafond.

Marica Linn & Honorebel came together collaboratively on the single, "Spotlight" released October 2019.[4]

Marica Linn gained international acclaim of her own when she performed her hit songs, "Changes" a hip hop ballad featuring New Orleans based singer/songwriter, Julie Elody, and "Spotlight," her "deeply invigorating"[5] tropical house summer hit with Honorebel, on NTV Uganda's music/dance/video show NTV Dance Party on June 13, 2020. The show was broadcast on national TV in Uganda and live streamed internationally on YouTube.
