The Marchocki family, using the Ostoja coat of arms, come from Lesser Poland, and took their surname in the 15th century from Marchocice. They often used the nickname Scibor in honor of their ancestor. This family included three senators and many land and town officials.

  • Aleksander Ścibor Marchocki (ca.1670-1722) - castellan of Żarnów, royal colonel.
  • Ignacy Ścibor Marchocki (1755-1827) - ensign of Trembowla, commissioner of the Targowica Confederation of the Kamieniec district, founder of the Mińkowiecki State.
  • Józef Marchocki (1776-1850) - officer of the Galician-French army and the Duchy of Warsaw, November insurgent.
  • Karol Ścibor Marchocki (approx. 1680–1720) - a hunter from Sandomierz, marshal of the Sandomierz Province in the Tarnów Confederation.
  • Marianna Marchocka, in the Teresa of Jesus convent (1603-1652) - barefoot Carmelite, mystic, Servant of God.
  • Mikołaj Ścibor Marchocki (c. 1570-c. 1630) - castellan of Żarnów, Przemyśl sword-bearer, starost of Czchów.
  • Paweł Marchocki (ca.1570-1631) - staroste of Czchów, royal captain, member of parliament.
  • Wojciech Ścibor Marchocki (approx. 1730–1788) - the castellan of Sanok, general-royal adjutant, cup-bearer, substitute and army Trembowla.
