Marcello Polisi

Marcello Polisi (born January 24, 1997) is a Canadian soccer player who currently plays for Canadian Premier League club HFX Wanderers.

Club Career

TSS FC Rovers

In early 2017 Polisi joined USL PDL club TSS FC Rovers,[1] He also played for the club in 2018 and 2019.[2]

HFX Wanderers

In June 2020 Polisi turned professional, joining Canadian Premier League side HFX Wanderers on a one year contract, with an option for a further year.[3] He made his debut for the Wanderers on July 3 against Cavalry FC.[4] In January 2022, the Wanderers announced they had exercised Polisi's contract option, extending his stay at Wanderers Grounds through 2022.[5]

International career

In 2012, Polisi was part of the Canadian U15 squad at the 2012 Copa de México de Naciones.[6]

Personal life

Polisi's younger brother, Matteo, is also a professional footballer with Pacific FC. The two also played together at Simon Fraser University and at TSS FC Rovers.[7]
