Mandy Matney

Mandy Matney is a journalist and podcast host. She writes for FITSNews and hosts the Murdaugh Murders podcast.[1] She previously worked for The Island Packet.[2]

Biography

Matney attended the University of Kansas where she graduated in 2012.[2] Before moving to South Carolina, she worked at the Waynesville Daily Guide in Missouri and the Danville Commercial News in Illinois.[3] She began reporting on the Murdaugh family in 2019.[2] In the fall of 2021, Matney's Murdaugh Murders podcast was the most popular show on Apple podcasts.[4]
